Companies on the list of the Top 100 Private Carriers  in the U.S. operate their trucks for carrying freight and each is ranked on the basis of the total number of tractors in that said fleet. The midwest has the most corporate-owned fleets in the Top 100 at 29, with the gulf coast region representing the second largest with 25.
