New Features Added The RTV5/PT-10 Backend System:
We are constantly improving and working on improving our systems. We will be posting new updated features here, as they are added to our backend system. Always evolving – always improving.
STOP/START – Email Reports Now With Clickable Link – That opens a map view of where your vehicle has stopped at. Added Feb. 2009.
PTO Activation Alert – Using The Panic Button Wire (White +) from RTV5 – Anytime the PTO is activated, the map view – will actually show a flashing – red/blue indicating the Alert. You can now visually see the activation. Wiring is very simple – the white wire from the RTV5 unit is a positive output – simply wire to the positive side of your switched device. Example, on a police vehicle’s lightbar – you want to wire the RTV5 white wire, to the hot side of the vehicle’s lightbar switch.
Don’t forget – you can also configure the PTO (using the white wire) to send SMS or e-mail alerts everytime an activation is made. You can also run a PTO report to see the dates/times activations occurred.
