A number of car owners have posted about their stolen 90s Subaru models in Portland on Facebook.
One victim, Cindy Huber, who is a resident of Southeast Portland, claims she had a 1993 green Subaru Impreza that was stolen right from her carport sometime between the early hours of Christmas at her apartment complex. She said she went shopping for presents and then visited her family only to come home and find her car missing.
The National Insurance Crime Bureau statistics show that among the top 10 stolen vehicles for 2015 in Oregon, two are 90s Subaru models: the 1998 Legacy and the 1999 Impreza. Read the rest of this entry »

Thieves Steal Motorcycle in Broad Daylight

Motorcycles are something many of us enjoys owning — and riding. Unfortunately, they are also an easy target for thieves and a lot easier for them to steal than regular vehicles. They simply break the lock on them and ride off. But, would you think that thieves would take off with your motorcycle in broad daylight in the middle of a crowded street? Most likely you wouldn’t, but this video shows that indeed they would.
This video shows a few thieves wearing helmets that cover their face stealing a motorcycle and a couple of motor scooters right in the middle of London. The funny part about it is that there are people who are just standing there watching them and even filming them do it, as this video shows. They do consider calling the authorities; however, none of them intervene as the thieves take their time and don’t look like they are in too much of a hurry.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) just introduced a new food sanitary transportation law recently in the U.S. as an element of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). This new food rule demands that shippers and carriers ensure the food they are transporting stays at its proper temperature.
What the FDA Rule Entails
Any person who is involved in the transportation of either human or animal food either by rail or motor vehicle is responsible to follow this new rule. They are required to follow best sanitary transportation practices like cleaning their vehicles adequately between loads, refrigerating food properly and protecting food properly while its being transported.

Tustin, California police have used GPS tracking devices to help them arrest over 100 suspects. Thanks to GPS tracking, they have now been able to use it on pharmaceutical thefts as well.
This year, there has been a series of pharmacy thefts and police were able to catch a couple men who were suspects of these burglaries. They were able to catch the thieves after a GPS tracking device was placed inside a cough syrup bottle.
