Customer Service – Why It Matters.
25 Apr 2011As a business owner, there is nothing more disappointing than conducting business with a company or its employees that fails to meet the expectations of their customers. I understand that things happen from time to time, and mistakes are sometimes made.
Recently, I had rather irritating customer service experience at a local restaurant. The waiter arrives at our table, he is very cordial and professional. We place our order and sit back to enjoy our dining experience. The waiter disappears, the drinks at our table sit empty for an overly extended period of time, the wrong food order arrives, and the waiter arrives to insist we did in fact order it! Later, the waiter returns and let’s us know that he is training someone, and it was their fault for the experience we were receiving. I thought to myself, well – if you were managing your trainee better – maybe this whole situation would have never occurred.
So you have a waiter and a trainee, front line employees – who in effect manage to present your brand and company identity in a somewhat negative manner, that could have a profound effect on your organization as a whole if the behavior continues.
So why is this important? Because, and outstanding customer service experience is what keeps your business viable. Customers return to it, they tell their friends and other associates. It in fact, can cause your business profitability to grow.
How does this tie into to GPS tracking systems for business? Simple, if you own or manage a service oriented business, you will be able to offer your customers – something that your competition might not – employee accountability and spectacular customer service.

Improve Profitability. Maximize your service calls per day, a gps system will allow you to ensure your drivers are efficiently performing their duties – acting with a sense of urgency. Effectively managing your workers – will increase your company’s profits, its’ a no brainer.
