How is it different from the standard PT-8100?The Pro Plus adds a 10,000 mAh extended battery (up to 120 motion-hours vs. about 8–10 on the standard PT-8100), a waterproof Pelican case, and an 80-lb-pull magnet mount. The tracker, network, and platform are the same – you simply get far longer runtime and rugged, covert placement. How much does the Pro Plus cost?The device is $348, with real-time tracking service at $29.95 per month for unlimited use. There are no contracts, and you can turn service on or off at any time. How long does the battery last?The 10,000 mAh extended battery delivers up to 120 motion-hours of tracking. Because the device sleeps when stationary, real-world runtime is measured in months – for example, roughly 100 days between charges when the tracked vehicle drives about an hour a day. Is it really waterproof, and how does it mount?Yes. The battery and tracker are housed in a waterproof Pelican case with a strong 80-lb-pull magnet, so it holds securely to metal surfaces – including underneath a vehicle – in all weather. Do I need to install it?No. The Pro Plus is completely portable with no wiring or installation. The PT-8100 Pro Plus is powered by a robust 10,000 mAh extended battery and is programmed to balance accurate tracking with battery efficiency:

In continuous motion, the extended battery delivers up to 120 motion-hours of tracking. Because it sleeps when stationary, real-world runtime is measured in months – for example:
