Last june, the Brevard Mosquito Control District in Florida were rocked with a mini-scandal. 15 inspectors were either placed on probation, or fired. Why? GPS tracking devices were placed on the agencies trucks and what managers found out, were quite shocking.
Driving home to take naps, going to unauthorized locations, like shopping centers, and restaurants, etc.
The agency Director, has seen some very positive change from this scandal. First and foremost, there was a immediate correction, as the saying goes, “people will respect, what you inspect”. As a result of their findings we are probably right to say the organization is much more efficient today, than it was a few years back.
On another interesting note, the organization also uses GPS to pinpoint mosquito breeding hotspots, which led the agency to using less chemicals and a drop in man hours.

It is available in many languages and works on all common computers. If you run a business of any size, and have vehicles on the road you might be interested in the following.
Idling your car or trucks engine, leaving it on while you are not moving, wastes fuel. A general rule of thumb is to consider that for every 1 hour of idling, you are burning through about 1 gallon of gas.
