Powered Tracking With Internal Backup Battery
Unlike simple hardwired trackers that go offline when power is removed, the Flash Asset Tracker Equipment includes an internal 5 Ah lithium-ion backup battery. When the tracker is connected to external power, it reports every 60 seconds while the asset is moving, at every heading change, when the ignition turns on or off, and every 60 minutes when the ignition is off. When external power is disconnected, the unit continues reporting from its internal battery – motion start and stop, every 2 minutes while moving, and a scheduled check-in every 24 hours while stopped.
