LiveViewGPS Collaborates with ng Connect on Connected Tablet
15 Jan 2013
LiveViewGPS, the GPS tracking experts for business, government and individuals, today announced that its Live Trac G5 and G5 Pro Vehicle Trackers will be part of the ng Connect Program’s CES exhibit, which offers a venue for showcasing the company’s Android-compatible GPS app. New connected user experiences will be unveiled at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show, January 8-11, in Las Vegas in the Alcatel-Lucent Booth #31412.
The ng Connect Program, founded by Alcatel-Lucent (EURONEXT and NYSE: ALU), is a multi-industry ecosystem dedicated to the creation of the new generation connected user experience. ng Connect is comprised of more than 190 contributing and associate member companies including leading network, consumer electronics, application and content providers. Twelve proof of concept demos will be featured this year in the Alcatel-Lucent booth.
As part of the ng Connect program, LiveViewGPS has enabled its Live Trac Platform as an Internet-based GPS vehicle tracking system accessible from Android® devices or any web-enabled computer or mobile device. As easy to operate as a cell phone, it permits real-time tracking with one-, five- or 10-second updates without requiring any additional software. Its features and reports are ideal for fleet operators who find it is ideal for their specialized requirements.
The hardwired Live Trac G-5 Vehicle Tracker is one of the industry’s most reliable vehicle tracking solutions. Its small form factor is ideal for covert installation and it features two-day internal battery back-up. The Live Trac G-5 Pro Vehicle Tracker is bigger, with a larger 10-day battery back-up. Additional features include panic button capability and the ability to disable a vehicle’s starter and lock/unlock a vehicle’s door.
